6 Months Old - Can you believe it???!!???

First of all, let me apologize for not posting sooner. I've had a ton of problems uploading pictures and videos so I've been REALLY frustrated - but I think I've figured it out. I haven't been able to upload the videos still - so you'll need to log into my Facebook account to see Rose in action.

We have a LOT of updates! Rose is now 6 months old and is growing so fast!
- Rose got her 6 month shots last week and was 15 lbs. 15 oz (in the 50th percentile) and 27 inches long (90th percentile!!!).
- She LOVES LOVES LOVES her paci! I don't know what we would do without that thing!
- She is eating real baby food. She didn't care much for green beans at first, but now she'll eat just about anything with no protest.
- She has mastered rolling over and can move with a purpose now (I had a video, but it wouldn't upload). If she sees something she wants at a reasonable distance, she will roll over to it. She hasn't quite figured out the crawling thing, but she is getting the basic knowledge now.
- She loves toys that makes noise.
- She LOVES being mobile. She will stay in her walker for a pretty long time and will get into everything. I don't think she understands the word "no" yet - either that or she is choosing not to "know". :) She likes getting into the trash and pulling the towels down from the stove.
- She loves paper. There could be 15 things on a table in front of her and she will go for the paper first. She loves to eat it. I love to watch disinigrating, mushy paper being transformed into my princesses mouth.
- She is spoiled thanks to grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. This child does not go without anything (which we are thankful for!)
- Her and Taylor are partners in crime. Rose likes to chase Taylor around the house, pull on her hair and terrorize her. Taylor likes to play with Rose's toys, steal her pacifiers (and hide them, can't find her hiding place, yet - and no, I don't give them back to Rose) and be Rose's protector (or taddle-tell).
- She will babble all day long and is making new sounds everyday.
- She tried a sippy cup for the first time last weekend and loves it - I think it feels good on her lil teeth that are coming in (soon, I hope)
- She is so fun to be around and is a happy baby. We are so happy to have her, we've decided to keep her (j/k) :)

We took Rose to the pediatrician last week for her 6 month check up. The doctor has referred us to the neurologist because Rose is showing signs of "abnormal muscle tension movements", which could be from seizure activities. The doctor just wants us to be safe but thinks that it may just be something that Rose does. Better safe than sorry. We have a visit with the neurologist next Tuesday. I'm not sure what they are planning to do but I know they will be running some tests. Please keep us in your thoughts.

Here are some pictures of Rose over the past month. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas season!

Loving all of her foods! YUM!

Gobble, gobble - it's almost turkey time! Happy Thanksgiving!

Brrrr - it's cold outside. Bundled up and ready to go.

Taylor and Rose are the best of friends. Rose likes to pull on Taylor's hair, Taylor likes to play with Rose's toys. It's a mutually benefiting relationship.

It's been FREEZING here. Luckily, Rose is a fan of her cute little hat and will wear it proudly (isn't she a doll?).

Please keep us posted about the neurology visit. I am praying for this to just be one of Rose's "quirks" and nothing serious. I can't believe she's 6 months old!
