She's a 1 Year Old!

Rose celebrated her birthday with style this year. She had a big birthday blowout, complete with a lot of good friends, a new swing set, baby pools and good food. She had a good time but tuckered out quickly.

Introduction to her new swing set

She LOVED her swing!

She HATED the pool.

Cake time!

Relaxin' with her PMa before naptime.

The day before her birthday, we took her to Chuck 'E Cheeses. She loved the lights and the furry mouse. Her friend, Julian, liked it too, he just wasn't impressed with the mouse.

YAH for age-appropriate rides!

Rose can walk on her own but she would much rather have help.

The most beautiful birthday cake ever - NOT! Publix did a terrible job on this and this was the second attempt! I was very disappointed but Rose didn't seem to mind.

Opening presents!

The day of her birthday, her friend Julian came down to share some cake. Rose had a fun-filled day with swinging, walking, playing and eating whatever she wanted. Even Taylor got cake! She was the princess for a day (well, actually a week!)

10 Months - Let the birthday countdown begin

This month has been great. We've enjoyed spending some time outdoors and getting rest (finally)! Rose has hit some many milestones this month. She started really crawling and scooching (or as I referred to it as wounded solider crawl), pulling up and saying "dada" and "mama".

Blake will be joining Publix in May and saying goodbye to Food Lion after 7 years. He is very excited! Please pray for a smooth transition.

Below are some pictures from the last month. Just think, in 2 months you'll be

Rose went on her first lunch date with her friend, Julian, at Toots. They shared sippy cups, slobber and treats - so romantic! Then, they went for a stroll in a nearby park. For some of that stroll, Rose slept until we crossed a tumultuously flowing river, where I risked our lives - then she was up from there (see pic - lol). We had a blast!

Playtime with Daddy is always fun!

Intrigued by anything her Daddy does, especially involving music.

The cutest sleeper ever.

Sleeping is a lot more fun when your dog entertains you...
